Here, at Clinetix, we do all we can to minimise any pain or discomfort for our patients and so prior to treatment we administer topical, local anaesthetic cream to ensure that the treatment can be carried out as pain free as possible. Everyone experiences levels of pain differently, but generally it is well controlled by the anaesthetic with most patients describing the treatment pain level experienced as “mild discomfort”.

Another main advantage of Morpheus8 is that there is little or no patient downtime following treatment, although absolutely no downtime is not guaranteed as reactions to treatment will vary depending on treatment parameters, patient skin type and individual response. However, where patients do experience post-treatment reactions these tend to be mild, lasting anything from 1-2 days up to a week.

The price for one course starts from £600 for treating the face and from £1,000 for treating the face and neck or other areas of the body. More than one session may be needed for desired results. Patients should moisturise the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is strongly recommended that patients use a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing the risk of skin cancer, daily sunscreen also slows down the skin ageing process.
